Before i make the upddate it was no problem to upload 2500 Pictures with interface at one time.
Now i can only upload 100-120 Pictures at one time. If i mark more then 120 it show the preview but it does not start with upload.

Thx for Help

Need more details. The average file size and the type of mount where the files are being picked.

I need to see your dashboard system info table.

Hi,

Just a quick note: Please refrain from sharing access credentials unless you're on a support tier that includes that service.

In the meantime, could you let us know the average file size and the type of mount from which the files are being accessed?

Thanks!

I'm using Windows 11, and all files are located on my main drive (C:\). Files are loaded onto the browser page via drag and drop. (Chrome)

STOP 🙂

I don't why, but with chrome and egde browser it doesn't work. Now i download Firefox and test it with this browser, and it works on time with 800 Files. For me the problem is solved. I use now the firefox for uploads and anything is fine sir. Thx for your time and i'm sorry to waste your time 😉

Best regards from Austria

Thanks for your input.

To complement your findings: Chevereto v4.3 introduced xxh64 client side file hashing when uploading files larger than CHEVERETO_MAX_CHUNK_UPLOAD_SIZE. It does this to early hint the server (before uploading all the chunks) to detect duplicate uploads.

This system is really fast as the hashing runs in WebAssembly, and it uses the file stream API for progressive hashing. It doesn't read the entire file, it process the thing doing a stream. It is fast as it gets, also memory efficient.

The problem is that the underlying filesystem dramatically affects the reliability of this feature when handling several files, also the browser. What I've found in the wild is that while browsers support the same APIs, the way they handle the load is way different, depend on each case.

For now, what you can do is to bump the chunk max size limit, that way it doesn't trigger the chunked upload process at all and behaves like the previous version.
