Update produced error and will not update

Site will not update and produces the following:

Which version are you updating from?

I assume the lastest as no updates were available until yesterday. Chevereto v3.12.2

But then I noticed that serveral updates came out days apart so I could be mistaken as it was Chevereto v3.11.1

The auto update relies on unzipping the release .zip but it actually doesn't check if the files got successfully updated as in most servers that check is not needed at all.

Try a manual update. Easy as download, extract and upload the contents.
