Running Chevereto on Ubuntu 22.04 and I want to add external storage to my NAS.

I have the NAS mounted in /var/www/html/storage/Photos

This is what I'm putting in the add storage option, where hostname is my actual hostname(I'm a little confused if this is actually correct)

After I hit submit this is what comes up and if I refresh the page the %ID% line goes away.

This is what the directory permissions look like on storage, so I think those permissions are correct as the folders inside storage is also www-data

Confused as to what I'm missing.

Anyone have a NAS device setup as external storage and can help out?

I'll be honest with you man it sounds like you're essentially doing is what I began also implementing even with my website as soon as blue skies and it's probably going to save you to know that if you actually look into server optima.com you'll come to find out that you'll be able to do a century and that server but also install this script in a smoother and more reliable method than attempting to mount and upgrade the storage when you could implement their compatible AWS s3 API (object buckets) and just pay an additional $5 a month saving you a ton of money and headaches down the road.

Thanks but I'll be keeping all this self hosted. This is mainly for friends to use to share our Jeeping adventures so I don't need a ton of space but since I have extra laying around I figured I'd add it.

It shouldn't be too difficult I feel like I'm just missing a step or two somewhere.

Well if you ever do come across the solution let me know for sure and honestly for what it's going to be intended for I think it's a great idea that you're actually going to go so posted on that I myself already have a Mac and I use that self-hosting method just simply for the use of my message so this city Blue sky thing is more of a hobby for me than really an intended business but for the same reason alone I recognize that yeah lights better than we keep control of our privacy and data the best way we can
