Encrypted redirects to steal search ranking

I was looking at Nginx error logs on my server and came across this strange URL of my site which when opened redirects to a weird shopping website. So I tested the same URL on demo site and results were same.

Are these guys trying get better search rank or something? How can we stop this?

That's the way in which you allow people to share their URL and don't give them any share of your website weight.

Rather than output the real url, Chevereto encrypts the URL string and it issues a redirect using PHP.

And for 3.12.0, the links will expire on session so no one will be able to use these links to trigger any unwanted action.
