Does anyone uses custom css/js message for the upload part for their users? (since they never name correctly!)

Since setting up my site i have had like only a couple of correct names, and since i made the text custom.

I tried to ensure that people WOULD give a title for each upload? (how dare they be so disorganized!! 😉 )

"Click the preview to add a title and description to your images" is the custom message in theme.

They still don't name them! is there anything we could do to make sure that it is forced on users? They HAVE to enter their custom > 5 chars title, and description?

I'm not sure if entering in the theme custom js is the best way?

What you guys think?

For most public image upload websites the kind of users that you will get are people just wanting to upload disposable images, you can't expect them to name these uploads.

Expecting and then having the ability to force are 2 different things no? Of course by nature people are lazy. But reddit for example requires you to write a title for a post, your forum included, requires us to write a title for our posts? Whats the difference?

I just want to force a title and option description and or tags. Its too difficult for me to rename images myself, as my niche is varied, and everything comes though as a one word same title mostly. Im a website admin (that should have control over a feature like this), not an image researcher and renamer on behalf of my random users all day and every day that WOULD with a prompt to see (*please enter a title to continue) would happily name if they had to anyway.

Whats the difference?

That the content for Chevereto is the actual media.

These users you want to force will simply go away and use something else that doesn't add that friction point, best case scenario you will get titles/descriptions like asdfasdfgsjahja or any random gibberish, just to fool the form requirement.
