Hi Rodolfo,

After enabling the CDN option in the settings, the website breaks. I am currently on 3.5.4 on Arvixe.

After further investigation via chrome inspector, the whole site is now loading and requesting from the CDN url, and not only for the images from embed codes.

After removing the values from MySQL, the website returns normal.

My bad, I was looking through the documentation and realise that this CDN url is another thing.

What I wanted to achieve is to CDN on external storage. And what I should have done is to enter the CDN Cname into the storage URL.

Yes, that is right.

CDN applies to local storage and to store images in a external service you need to go to external storage. Add a CDN on top of that because each storage is different and they can't share the same CDN URL.
