Albums disappear from profile when moved to "files"

Reproduction steps
  1. Create albums on a user profile.
  2. Attempt to move the albums into "files" (an action that users are not supposed to perform).
Unexpected result

The albums no longer appear on the user’s profile.

Expected result

Albums should remain visible on the profile, or this action should not be possible in the first place since it doesn’t make sense from a user perspective.

Workaround
  • Manually update the database: set the album_parent_id of the affected album from 0 to NULL.
