Albums disappear from profile when moved to "files"

Reproduction steps
  1. Create albums on a user profile.
  2. Attempt to move the albums into "files" (an action that users are not supposed to perform).
Unexpected result

The albums no longer appear on the user’s profile.

Expected result

Albums should remain visible on the profile, or this action should not be possible in the first place since it doesn’t make sense from a user perspective.

Workaround
  • Manually update the database: set the album_parent_id of the affected album from 0 to NULL.

I'm not getting this behavior on 4.3.6. For me it uses null not 0, the only way for triggering the issue for me is force pass POST album_id=0 via code editing. Doing that I get "Album not found" error and album_parent_id=0 as you described.

Perhaps it may be related to the id_padding bug? In any case, I added an extra guard on both ends. Will prevent passing zero as argument, and if you pass zero or any invalid id it will simply ignore the input.
