will it work if we transfer sftp images to another server sftp account?

if we have an external storage SFTP " A " in hosting " X " where we have live photos on the website and we want to change hosting for some reason can we move the contents of " A " to another hosting " Y " with a new SFTP storage " B"? If we change the SFTP settings on website dashboard doest images will be live on site again?

If you migrate A to B and B resolves just like A then you shouldn't have any issues at all.
