Why can't I update chevereto?

The version stays at 3.18.0 and clicking update says I'm on the latest version.

You are on the latest version for the stable channel. Newest releases are for beta testers only, to avoid high support costs.

There is just the stable version or the beta version. There is no trial version. So you're on the latest version, so there is nothing to upgrade for you.
