What are the server configuration requirements for the feature of video upload service in the version after V4.1.0?

I am still using V3 software, I heard that V4 already supports uploading video files I am very interested, and I am considering buying an upgrade to my Chevereto software license, but as far as I know to support video uploading requires FFMPEG module processing work, and FFMPEG is a very intensive server hardware resources, which is also a point of concern for me, so I would like to know that support for video uploading of the V4 So I would like to know what is the minimum server hardware requirement for V4 software to support video upload?

Hello,

far as I know to support video uploading requires FFMPEG module processing work, and FFMPEG is a very intensive server hardware resources
For our use case FFmpeg is not resource heavy at all, we only use the probe and the stream seek functionality. To put it in context, is more CPU intensive to calculate the file md5.

With the addition of chunked upload functionality in v4.3.0 the server and network requirements are even lower now.

Can a virtual server with 2 CPU cores and 4GB of RAM run smoothly?

Server sizing is simple stuff, measure the bytes flowing in each system and you have your answer right away. If you don't know how to do that then simply start low and bump hardware if needed.

For this kind of software there's no one size fits all, we are talking about load driven systems that you need to use/test to tell.

There's also performance updates which on Chevereto are happeing all the time. As a matter of fact, Chevereto v4.3.0 is yet better performant than their predecessors by far and the software keeps getting faster on every iteration.
