Hey there,

As you may know Chevereto has this sibling named xrDebug, which is a lightweight debugger also included on Chevereto.

The main reason why xrDebug exists is to support Chevereto users and to bring an easy going debugging experience to all of us. It works so well and is so cheap to maintain that now I'm spreading the word about it everywhere.

Last Thursday I presented xrDebug at MergePHP, which is a large PHP user group as it merges several US-based groups from Austin, Phoenix, Boston and more. Many thanks to Logan and all the organizers who enable people like me to show our work.

😘 I hope you can watch it so you can know me more and understand xrDebug better.

P.S. Here's the blog post about it.

I'm building a plugin in joomla, that makes the site operate like a IWA (interactive web app), since joomla is php, would this work with joomla? and also what about wordpress (yuk) lol However i could defaintly recommend you sometimes on a popular marketing forum, if i knew, as occasionally people there have wordpress issues, that they can't understand, and I'm assuming this software would/maybe work with them since they are both PHP?

Cheers keep up the good work. Your very inspiring that you build up all your own cool infrastructure for this project.

@purplehead Of course, the reason why I built xrDebug is because I needed a persistent debug window in any given scenario. It works with PHP 8 upwards, can be used on any PHP runtime.

There's a WordPress plugin here: https://github.com/xrdebug/wordpress which ease working with WordPress projects.

xrDebug PHP integrations relies on VarDump, which is also made by me and it works for dumping variables on the output stream.

Hope these tools aid your development.
