Using external storage

I have a problem or at least I'm just not understanding on how to correct this issue.

I already set up my Cname with maxcdn and it looks something like this "cdn.domain.com" the full URL would be "cdn.domain.com/images/2015/07/26/R-2759953-1299786939.jpeg.jpg" for example, and it's currently hosted on a local server but I want to transfer it in the cloud, for example Amazon the problem with Amazon it places this "s3.amazonaws.com" in the URL:
"cdn.domain.com.s3.amazonaws.com/2015/07/25/Desktop_Wallpaper_02.jpg"

won't that break my current URL? And how would I get around that?

Chevereto CDN only works for local resources, it won't affect any external storage. When using local storage you can indicate the storage URL that will be use to fetch the files, in this case you can use Amazon as external storage and setup Cname + CDN at that level.

If you want to transfer the local storage to an external storage, you can do it by firs moving that content to an external storage (not in Chevereto) then add this external storage in Chevereto and edit the images table injecting this new storage_id.
