Current storage option for images are Direct and Date folders. It would be nice if a third option where the images of registered user gets stored inside a folder under their name. This could also possibly help with a future export option, so that export jobs just need to zip the username folder and can be imported using existing import job.

eg: https://demo.chevereto.com/username/image.jpg

Adding username folder will allow users to brand their image links when they share on other websites.

Keep in mind that usernames can be changed, meaning that this would require a sub-system to deal with username changes and content redirection as you are altering a file-system path. I recommend you should think in storage as an immutable place where to store files and all aesthetics you may need go only on the outer URL, distributed by an image server.

You can disable user names or album names in the background. Use the username or album name as the URL
