Groups and permission per group would be awesome. That way you could allow everybody to create an account but choose those who can actually upload pics and all.
 
I believe in user group permission we can set which embeds are shown for which user group.

Example: direct link for registered and no direct link for guest.
 
It will be great addition. It will also allow us to assign groups to different paid tiers with their respective feature sets.
 
Can the groups be used for moderation? A new user would get less permission, like not shown in public image listing or random. When a user behaves, give them more freedom to post and be shown on the public pages. Or the other way, give all new users acces the public listings, but remove them if they misbehave.
