🎯Description of the issue

Started the update and everything went blank. I cannot find information/downloads to do a manual update. Unfortunately every time anyone experiences issues with chevereto, admin always says it is an issue with your server. Unfortunately we are most likely going to have to find an alternative, as continues issues across multiple servers is just too stressful, especially when support response is always that is is our problem.

  1. Started the web based update, then went to a blank screen

You are running 5.4, is not a surprise that the system doesn't longer work for you anymore. As any software, we have listed our requirements and since V3.12.0 the software needs PHP 5.6+ to run. This requirement is listed everywhere and it was informed properly (newsletter, release notes, release preview and website docs).

On the support claims you made, problem here is that is not new that most issues are server related. I know, is frustrating... But even your issue is server related so I don't know what to say about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As we don't provide the server, it won't harm you to ask your hoster to keep your PHP up to date. Here the official reference: http://php.net/supported-versions.php

Cheers,
Rodolfo.
