Update Manually

Hello,

My current version is 3.8.3 and I want to get to the latest version, but due to some missing PHP plugins, I am not able to perform auto-update, so can i use the old method to update?

Manual update
Manual update procedure is the same as "Update from 3.0.0 to 3.6.8"

• Download Chevereto last release
• Backup all your file changes (theme, routes, etc.)
• Upload all the files and folders from "chevereto"
• Login to your website (admin user) and then run http://www.mysite.com/install
• Restore or merge your file changes (only if needed)

I know the procedure, i just want to know whether the old procedure (Manual update) will work after 3.6.8 or not, since i am not able to perform auto update.

You can always do the manual update. The auto update is just an automated manual update.
