🎯Description of the issue
Hi,

I just updated Chevreto for the latest version. I got the error message unable to connect to www.url.fr/update. And now when I connect to my site I have an error message. Image upload as invitee works well.

Fatal error [0]: Invalid login $by password
Triggered in /app/lib/classes/class.login.php at line 153

Indicates that some files where altered so it is very likely that your installation is corrupted. If the process was unable to connect, then I assume that the files got manually updated/merged as there's no other way to cause that behavior.

That error indicates that your server is not capable to connect to the Chevereto API. For all these cases, you should consider doing the manual update procedure:

Manual update (files)
This procedure will be required if unable to login to your installation or if your server is unable to fetch the Chevereto API.
  • Download the latest release
  • Backup all your file changes (theme, routes, etc.)
  • Upload all the files and folders from the chevereto folder
  • Login to your website (admin user) and then go to /install
  • Restore or merge your file changes (only if needed)
