Tried updating to latest version of chevereto but get this php error

  • This server is currently running PHP version 5.4.45 and Chevereto needs at least PHP 5.5.0 to run. You need to update PHP in this server.
This is the error. Even though the PHP version is 5.6 I am getting this error
 
Create a PHP info file and confirm if you are running > 5.4

If you have changed php version in panel try to restart apache service.
In future you should always create backup of data and db before upgrading in case something fails.
 
Besides that, php 5.4 reached is end of life in September 2015, that's more than one year ago.

I know that it could be a hassle, but I keep in mind that keep supporting old versions is same as break progress or the evolution of the software.
