I uploaded a.jpg, b.jpg and c.jpg on 19-JUN-2012.

On 20-JUN-2012, I discovered that I couldn't see the images anymore in File Manager. However, the physical files still exist, so nothing was deleted, just that the 3 files were not showing up in File Manager.

So, I uploaded d.jpg on 20-JUN-2012 to see if it would show up in File Manager, and to my surprise, it did. So, I only have d.jpg in the file manager, and I couldn't understand what happened to a.jpg, b.jpg and c.jpg.

Is there anywhere I should check on how this could have happened?

Hard to tell, it could be a db issue or a cache issue. Are you usong some kind of cache on your site?

It's actually a new site (a subdomain) I created to use as an image server for the main site. The only script on the site is chevereto.

Could be a server side cache issue? I am going to upload another picture on 21-JUN to see if the 20-JUN pictures would still be around in the File Manager.

It could be a cache issue. I have notice cache issue with people using cloudflare.

I've been uploading images constantly for the past few days. There has been no repetition of the missing image issue. However, the images which was missing in the first upload remains missing from the File Manager.

I wasn't sure if I could replicate the issue again, but consider this issue an isolated case...

Ok, i will label this as invalid but please take note if this happens again.

I've noticed that in some setups PHP timezone is different than MYSQL timezone. This means that when PHP insert a record using date() it insert the record using the server time but when you want to retrieve that record, or perform any query that use mysql built-in date functions the results will not be accurate because the db is in another time zone.
