setup external storage

hi guys ..
can i setup external storage vps (ubonto 17) without install cpanal or any control panal ?
any one have (guide documents) about how to do that ?

It depends on what type of storage you have decided to use (you've not said) ?

Also, you should really make use of a CNAME if at all possible.

i didnt understand what is mean ( type of storage you have decided to use)
its storage server from letbox
i setup fstp user and i test it from filezilla and its work
but i cant add storage setting in my script (Path and URL)

about cname for storage server ..for bad i dont know how :(
for all that i was try to just start without external storage ...until i learn more :p but evry one here always say : start frome day 1 with external storage

That kind of errors happens when you don't enter the right path. Just make sure to point the thing where it should store the files and make sure that the folder is visible by the SFTP user.
 
Maybe the permissions on the folder where you are storing the images ?? Maybe they are not publicly viewable ?

Just a guess.. ;)
 
Check the console for the actual error (browser console). That will give you a HTTP status code, if you get a 404 error then the problem is that the mapping is not properly set (CNAME should map to where the actual files are stored from the vhost path).
