Redirect issue

Hi, I'm having an issue:

I can upload a file just fine. However I get a redirect to my homepage.

Any help much obliged.

Check htaccess, most likely a problem in there.

It may be a htaccess that covers chevereto as a folder because it redirects to the forum.php not chevereto homepage, do you have any other htaccess files in your forum folder?

It seems that any URL in forum/chevereto/something will be redirected by your forum. For instance this URL http://www.chatvb.com/forum/chevereto/about redirect to forum... Most likely there is a rule in /forum that is conflicting with Chevereto.
Try to install Chevereto in a parent folder.

I very much appreciate the replies.

If it is OK - I'd like to post my htaccess, as mentioned by Pulseeey?

I also tried doing what Rodolfo mentioned - I placed the Chevereto outside of my vbulletin directory, and launched it from there. I can see my upload screen, and can upload a file - but instead of being taken back to my homepage I get taken to another screen that says "Click here to return to Chatvb".

I am thinking I did something to my htaccess file/s? I know very little about HTaccess except for what I gleaned from the Vbulletin site.

The problem is that the htaccess rules from vbulletin are touching the Chevereto dir. Vbullein is in the parent folder and their htaccess is overriding the Chevereo htaccess rules.

You need to either install Chevereto in a folder with no top rules or workaround the vbulletin htaccess to dont touch the Chevereto dir.

I put the files outside of my forum - got the same result. I also cannot log into the admin panel - just sits there and spins.

I contacted my host - they told me I had a lot of "re-writes" in my htaccess file - and the guy I talked to had to upgrade my support ticket.

*sigh* I will wait to see what they tell me.

Yes, that is in the /forum dir so is governed by the .htaccess file in the root ot /forum and you will always have issues with that.

Hello,

The issue with the image uploader was the .htacces file here:
/home/jerry/public_html/forum/chevereto/.htaccess

I updated the line RewriteBase /chevereto to

RewriteBase /forum/chevereto

Since the chevereto is nested in your website and then the forum. The image uploader appears to be working correctly at this time.

This was fixed by my host. This can now be closed.
