[Plans or Promotions] Any discounts for the holidays?

Chereveto 4.4.0 is definitely shaping up to be a wonderful release, thank you for the hard work @Rodolfo and everything you've been doing.

I was curious to know if you have any plans or special promotions/discounts for licensing this year?

I understand that the lite version is 'good enough' for most needs but cloud services as an independent or one time purchase is something I'd be willing to spend or pay for separately or whole. Money is tight and there's no excuses, you deserve the income.

But the holidays are coming and I was curious to know what you may have been planning or if there's any plans to offer customers a way to pay for S3 image /video hosting service as an independent thing.

Hello,

I get this question from time to time, so I'd like to clarify that although we used to run Black Friday deals in the past, we will no longer be participating in these kinds of events.

The reason is simple: Chevereto is a software license, there's no inventory to clear and our focus is on maximizing the value of the installed infrastructure throughout the year rather than offering short-term discounts.

Cheers,
Rodolfo

Any intention of offering add on / optional features normally bundled with Pro as a separate thing? Honestly my focus is the S3 API integration, can we negotiate something so that particular function is available?

No. My focus is now the API, and we don't split the software into plugins (we do editions).

In your case, you could use S3FS and mount it to a storage path and fool Chevereto thinking is doing local storage.

If you need a heavy workload you will need real S3 support, but if you get there then Chevereto licensing price shouldn't be a problem.
