HI

Im using my website from 3 devices. it happend to me too and with 2 other users that when they clcik on the social login button the page simply refresh but the user is NOT logged in. Now the cookies were deleted and right away working BUT

if i delete only the PHPSESSid cookie and leave the rest alone it does the same soooooo whatever is happening that is responsible.

now the issue is i got no clue how to solve this

the reported system was the same : chrome browser on PC....mobile phones always seem to work without issues 🙂

Can you describe the issue with more detail and step-by-step?

ok :

logged in on PC1
logged in on PC2 (different network.
after a day or two im logged out when visiting the website. not a surprise its fine. click on FB login button and all it does is refreshing the page with a # in the end of the link BUT still not logged in. same on both PC....btw it works fine on mobile phone at the same time

usually i used to delete all the cookies(4-5) for the domain BUT tried out which one is the black sheep. so went on one by one and if i leave all the cookies alone except the PHPSESSID(delete only that one cookie) and try to log in right after it works like a charm.

using Chrome browser windows 8.1 / win7
hope it makes sense 😀

I've notice that issue some times when testing in localhost but never on production. I will see if there is something weird with the _SESSION handle.
