Here is a question I been asked recently : The user would like to keep the albums visible (thumbnail) for everyone but when a visitor clicks on it needs a password to actually access the album. This is mainly for a photographer for client proofing.

Not sure why she wan’t all the albums to be visible to everyone but the question is asked. So albums visible just like normal but on opening one there is a password required if set so.

Hi,

Yes it should be added but I don't know when. At this time Im working in the updater script and other assorted improvements, I will think about it.

Sorry but the features are not added based on the date when they were suggested. Accepted means that it will be added in this current major version, not that it will be added asap.
