is it possible to make an option to disable embed codes sections gone from upload / img viewer tab ? with every update (theme related) i need to remove the few lines....

That is why is a default theme. You can customize it but as far as option goes that can be added only from time to time and just for general things. This is not a general concern so you must get used to it. good thing is that not every release touches the image template.

Since 3.5.5 you can control the tabs from each route file so you can override anything.
