So my previous install went the way of the faulty hd and bad host. So I have a new host but I am having some issues, when i upload the .htaccess file and try to access the site it gives me a 500 error I have treid everything I can think of to get it to work. The domain is zag.gs
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
My .htaccess file came from the thread i created with I first joined here https://chevereto.com/community/threads/fresh-install-no-theme.2803/

I thought it could be a file permission error so I did a chmod 777 on everything to rule that out. I really have a feeling that it is a .htaccess error and I am just skipping around the answer.

Hi, first of all you shouldn't use permission 777 for all. 777 permission should be only applied to the folders that needs write/read permission and only on servers that doesn't run PHP with writting permissions over the file system.

Sadly, I can't debug the error with the information provided. Please send me the FTP details to access to your site and I will see what is happening.

You have a server settings error:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'DateTime::__construct() [<a href='datetime.--construct'>datetime.--construct</a>]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function.

Ok im gonna get the control panel support staff to fix it now. It was a issue previously and they said it was fixed.
