I am trying to upload on my Android phone, I can select multiple images, but only one image gets uploaded to the site.

Tested in Chrome (Android, stock file picker) and it allows me to upload multiple images.
Chances are that you have a custom file picker in your phone and that gives you trouble. Chevereto only calls the web API that your web browser triggers later, not being able to add multiple images is not a limitation neither a problem present in the software.
