I don't know why you take it like this. If you need help I give you help in the scope of what I can do. In your case you have both network and server issues and I can't do anything to fix network issues and server issues are not something covered by Tech support. I'm sorry but I can't go to your network and make it work because is not something that it can be fixed. Either you change network provider or your hosting company.
As you may notice you are the only person with this issues which tells me that is something related to how good/bad is your server network.

Thanks for your post. My hosting company has covered off from their side and the network side so nothing further to persue there.
Anyway have deleted the site so you can close the thread. - and yes the people who have uploaded have had a chance to move their images to another site.

Anyway is your call. If I tell you that is a network issue that could be either your connection to the server or the server connecting to the world. I know this system backwards and ask anyone, I know everything about make it work and we have websites with one image hosted and websites that host millions of images.
You are free to install the system in any server you want and give it a second shot or just forget all the thing. There are more than 3,500 clients with near to 5,000 installations out there so I hope you join us in the future. Your license is lifetime perhaps in some time you can come back and find that the system is complete different and packed with more cool features. Guess what, it will be free for you to download and use it.
If you need help to make it work in a different server or the same server I can give you a complete detail of the things that you (or the server administrator) needs to be care of.
