making chevereto fixed width

hi please help me with this:

I ave edited peafowl.cc to have the max-width: 1400px; to make it fixed width of large devices. Please advise if I'm doing it at correctly or not. Or else, is there a better way to do this?

Code:
@media (min-width: 992px) and (max-width: 1920px) {
    .content-width {
        max-width: 1400px;
    }
}
@media (min-width: 1921px) and (max-width: 2560px) {
    .content-width {
        max-width: 1400px;
    }
}
@media (min-width: 3840px) {
    .content-width {
        max-width: 1400px;
    }
}

You are doing it correctly. You should add that CSS via Dashboard > Settings > Theme.

This single code should do the most of the above... unless you plan to use many different width settings.

Code:
@media (min-width: 992px) {
    .content-width {
        max-width: 1400px;
    }
}
