Login issues due to wrong HTTPS VPS setup

I've registered an account and it seems that the confirmation email isn't working for you.

Chances are that email delivery isn't working, which is crucial when you have enabled to check sing-ups.

Please send server access to REDACTED to fix it for you.

I've removed the validate email step, but unfortunately loging won't work. Your server is broken, the HTTPs stuff doesn't work as expected which will always cause cookie/login issues.

Email isn't working because you haven't configured that in the dashboard (which it can't be done unless you fix the https issue). Once being able to login I will move forward in testing email delivery.

Your website setup driving traffic towards HTTPS but the setup is invalid, you can tell it right away in the address bar. Login won't work, the security settings in Chevereto will reject any cookie for being saved, including the one used for login. I can tell that you are running a VPS, check this guide it may help you: https://v3-docs.chevereto.com/setup/root-install.html

I suggest you to pay attention to the HTTPS setup in your server/proxy. Try using certbot, is an automatic tool for enabling HTTPS websites. You can also go HTTP (not secure, without the S) but your server is redirecting to https. Probably you have a cert issue, or another issue of that kind affecting the secure layer.

I'm sorry but the https setup is failing, regardless of your other systems the https you configured for Chevereto is broken.

Refund applies to within 10 days of purchase, but you opened this topic on day 1 so I will skip that part of the rule.

I hope that at some point you realize that the issue here is your server setup, not the software. I've been there, systems can be extremely frustrating things, specially servers.

I hope that the refund helps you to wash the frustration, feel free to keep trying to make it work. Perhaps you give it another try and you spot the issue.

Anyway, good luck and sorry for the trouble.
