Not sure if is this bug, or feature request, but last time what I ask it should be fixed in 3.9.0.

If I open one image from album. Looks like is still no possible listing as non registered user. (album is as private - anyone with the link)

That album has privacy set to "Anyone with the link".

That means:
  • That album won't get listed anywhere
  • Access to one of those images directly doesn't allow you to access to the album (image access != album access)
  • Admins are able to see everything (as always)
I think that the only thing that I could add here is to detect if you accessed to the album and if you did, then show the "In this album" section, otherwise it shouldn't be shown.

It sounds good.

And one more thing. If I enable in profile settings: Make my profile and identity totally private

I can see "in this album" but cant listing. (nonregistered) (album - public and password protected)

Private profile hides who owns the content, not the content. That's is what the form says anyway:

It reads "Make my profile and identity totally private", it doesn't mention anything about the content because it doesn't do anything with content. This private mode is just some sort of incognito mode.

Unfortunately you are misunderstanding the system functionalities.

Yes, I think I undestand. But (how I said) it looks like it has influence on listing in albums. If I enable this as user who upload albums. As nonregistered I cant listing in albums (which are public or password protected) anymore.

Like I said,
  • Content privacy != profile privacy. This means that it doesn't matter if your profile is private or not, it doesn't affect content
  • A private profile doesn't have a listing where you can get images or albums (it is a private profile, it doesn't have a public profile at all)
  • When you have access to a password protected album (like this one, password 1234) as an unregistered user you can see the "In this album" section because you already have access to that album
  • If you try to access to an image which belongs to a password protected album, system will ask for album password so from now on you also have album access to see its contents
When you provide password access it means that you have album access. When you see an image which belongs to an "anyone with the link" setting it doesn't grant that the user has album access anyway, because this visitor could get access by several reasons and you can't assume image access as the same as album access.

I think that the clarification is more than enough.
