Large file uploads tends to fail

1. Upload 40mb +/- png fails.
2. Works perfectly on same size jpg files.
3. Got reports of this pre 3.12.7

Seems to be a host issue and not a script one as in my end it worked correctly:

Yet same image on yours it indeed failed with a
" Server error (Internal server error) "

Hmm, yeah... most likely it's not the script then. Any ideas why it is working for jpg and not png?

Can you share your host environment to try to reproduce it? I mean php stuff, os and such to make a vmware of it (by pm for example)

Ubuntu +apache nginx proxy. I've tried php 7.1 and php 7.2

JPG and PNG are different formats, most likely the resize for that PNG just eats more memory.

Damn, you are right. I upped the limit to 512mb from 256mb and it went through.
