Issues with uploaded thumbnail images

some issues with uploaded images if you use the thumbnails they get cut below

I think it will be better with a setting of default width but a variable height depending on the picture

here i set as 300x200 and picture gets cut below

just notice cause some pictures have longer heights like 900 x 2100 something like that

also would like to ask where to put or change codes for making the bb codes and html codes to redirect to view page with some ads
