Issues of Uploading Images via API

Chevereto Member
The user uploads images via an API and wants to upload the images to an album specified by the user. Does the current API support creating albums? If so, what is the specific request method? Also, I noticed in the API documentation that it's possible to specify an album ID (album_id) when uploading images — where can the user obtain this album_id? Thank you.
