Is original/uncompressed file preserved?

Chevereto Noob
Does Chevereto preseve the original image file? In my opinion that would be great for photographers who want to use Chevereto to send photos for a customer.

Yes as long it is set to 'Keep Exif data' otherwise the image is recompressed for exif removal.

In my opinion there should be a clear option whether the user wants to retain original image or not. Normal users don’t know that discarding exif data means that image quality decreases. Also removing exif could be done losslessly.

It is one of the basic features on an image hosting site. For example if a photographer wants to provide photos for a client then retaining original quality is important.
