Is it possible to use a sub-domain for img links and Embed Codes?

As title say i would like to know if it's possible to use a sub-domain for images links and embed code?

Like i have my domain.com where users upload images and when upload is done, it give them an url like http://i.mydomain.com/imgname.ext for images and embed code.

I don't know if it's the right section to ask it. I hope it is 🙂
