Integration with Kraken.io for image optimization (premium users)

We are looking to integrate Kraken.io for image optimization onto our platform which normally can help to reduce overall image size by 70%+ in order to help with hosting costs etc.

Our developer will begin development next week, but I had one question .. is there a way to have "premium users" with this Chevereto script.. where for example for all Guests + Registered Users they just upload images without optimization.. but for Premium / Paying users, they can use the image optimization system?

No, well.. There is a "way" but it is all manual. User groups will be added to V4.X so at this time the only thing that you can do is to extend the system at your own.
