Hello,
I can't install Chevereto, I got a permission error:

Both folders are set to 755.
 
The best that you can do is that your web server (Apache, nginx, etc) has permissions over the whole website folder. This is because you won't have issues either with content or with the auto update. If run the web server without full writing permissions, you will need to set folders in 755, 775 or 777 (in that order). Note that using chmod for that is very discouraged and you should go for the other method which is usually applied with suPHP and some other one-click workarounds in each web host.
