How to upload from password protected remote url?

Hi there, I am trying to upload remotely pictures from a rapidleech that is "user : pass" protected, for example:

http://user:somepass@rl.somehost.org/rapidleech/files/k1337.jpg

but its not recognizing the url as valid.

Is there a way to fix that ..?

It should work just like that. If that doesn't work then your server is limiting curl.

I have tried to upload image from my rapidleach to numerous image hosts that are posted in the showcase section ... none of them recognizes the image link. I have also tried to upload to the demo site "http://demo.chevereto.com/" with no success.

So it is not really hosting issue .. something has to be included to the code..

It seems that an special option must be parsed to curl handle. I will test it for V3.
