one of the user is asking us to provide API key so that he can upload images directly. how and where can i get the api key to provide to the user ?

Is there any documentation of how can i use the api key to upload the images ?

API v1 doesn't support this "out the box" but you can override this. See: https://v3-docs.chevereto.com/api#upload-to-user-workaround
