I plan to understand how to use Chevereto for better functionality of my website. So far my destination is somewhat slow and images take lots of time to load.

Hey there and welcome!
I would suggest the load times of images are due to what host you are using. Try using a CDN to speed up the loading times. I personally use BunnyCDN.

Hello and Welcome, it can be caused by many things:
poor configured web server without caching
low upload/download speeds on the shared server - or any limitations by the hosting provider
Give use more info, how many Pictures are you hosting with Chevereto, what server (provider) are you using, shared or own VPS configured machine and so on?
