Is there a way to add the Google Analytics Code to the index.php?

<?php include ("tracking.php"); ?>

The mentioned code above gives me a syntax error 🙁 apparantely I'm not good with coding ..
 
As far as I know Google Analytic code is a simple Javascript line.
You can simply copy and paste this line at the complete bottom of footer.php in the template you are using.
 
It's very easy

open: chevereto/content/themes/Paefowl/index.php

after:

Code: 
<?php if(!defined('access') or !access) die('This file cannot be directly accessed.'); ?>
<?php include_theme_header(); ?>


add:

Code: 
<?php include_once("tracking.php") ?>

and google analytics is running 🙂
 
But have you notice the include path? It will not work if you don't use the full path.
btw, analytics is just HTML open template's footer and place on it 😉
