File naming method broken?

Description of the issue
I'm running chevereto for a couple of years now.

In the past, file name and URL would be the same.
Example (90wCN):
https://fmshots.com/image/90wCN
https://fmshots.com/images/90wCN.jpg

But now, that's no longer the case and I don't like it.
Example:
https://fmshots.com/image/DNa2A
https://fmshots.com/images/DnclW.png

I haven't changed any settings, and File naming method is still ID.

I believe we did. Why would that affect this particular function though?

Yes, it does.

Most likely the files at app/content/locks/ are not readable or writable.

Hmm, is that fixable? Maybe check the CHMOD of that folder to be 666 or 777?

Chmod? People still do that?

Simply remove all files in that folder. That should get rid of the issue.
