Description of the issue
Hello, may i know is your external storage can support for google drive?

No, it doest support Google Drive. It supports FTP, SFTP, Google Cloud, Amazon S3 and OpenStack.

I thought Google deprecated Drive for third party hosting last year.

Google Cloud is far better for this sort of thing.

1. Google Drive doesn't allow to use it as third-party hosting.
2. I'm not accepting new requests at this time.

Cheers,
Rodolfo

Goggle Cloud is what Google allows you to use and it is already supported.
Rodolfo I chat with Google Support last night, they said no problem to store the image using your script. Since i am admin for my organization google drive account, so i can store it. Plex also supported Google Drive :). But they suggest to use Google Cloud for more stable.

I understand that you want to use Google Drive because is free, but it won't happen because they don't allow to use that service in that way.

Beginning August 31st, 2015, web hosting in Google Drive for users and developers will be deprecated. You can continue to use this feature for a period of one year until August 31st, 2016, when we will discontinue serving content via googledrive.com/host/[doc id].

What Google allows you to do with Drive is to sync content, backups, upload/download content but for logged users only. It also doesn't allow you to cache those contents so every time you need an image will need to call Google API making the experience slower and disabling lots of features like image embedding.

That's why Google has a wide range of solutions and I won't put something that will only get trouble.

Google Drive could be used to do auto backups and things like that, but not as a storage server.

Rodolfo , i asked Google Support via chat and they said im allowed to store the image using image hosting script.

Yeah ofcourse for logged user only, like Plex did https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201342573-Cloud-Sync-Storage-Provider-Setup & https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201889756-Cloud-Sync-Overview

Yes just noticed cannot embed image from google drive/photo, but can embed using this code:
Default link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1n0OBdLPoPP_08Obq33_7pYdz3ryXSD9MJA
Embed link: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1n0OBdLPoPP_08Obq33_7pYdz3ryXSD9MJA
Change "open" to "uc" and embed are working.

Thanks, but for the reasons mentioned before (and because it will break several functionalities) I won't add Google Drive for now.

Cheers,
Rodolfo.
