Error uploading images with "%" in filename

It seems to be that the "%" char causes trouble in PHP. I've try in the demo and in localhost and the picture is uploaded but the URI can't be found. The filename must NOT contain %,

fix this is pretty easy: go to includes/classes/class.upload.php and find this:
PHP:
$original_name = preg_replace('/[\s\.]+/', '_', $original_name); // Original name with spaces and dots changed to "_"

Add below:
PHP:
$original_name = str_replace('%', '', $original_name); // Remove conflicting '%'

This issue will be fixed in release 2.5.5
