Error: Invalid list request on Dashboard -> Images page

After the update from 2.5.9 to 3.5.5, the image page on the dashboard (/dashboard/images) only shows the images uploaded after the update to 3.5.5. Once I scroll down to trigger the loading of further images, a yellow error message box with "Error: Invalid list request" appears.

Please let me know, if you require any additional information.
