Buenas tardes

Estoy tratando de habilitar la opción de comentarios en las fotos cargadas, pero no puedo encontrarla.

Además, ¿me gustaría saber si esa opción es premium?

He estado revisando el registro de cambios, pero no pude encontrar nada.

Thank you very much for your attention.

It always boils down to money, and since you put that on the table would you mind telling me the how much ($) this extra comment functionality matters to you? 😇
Okay I'll bite, if one were to request such a custom thing to be made for my website, what do you say that you charge between $50 to $75 as a one-time fee to have it implemented?

I'm also interested in adding commenters. Disqus is paid and I don't know of any other options. As for financing. Maybe a good idea would be to set up a fundraiser on some site and collect money from users to implement the feature?

For example, recently my YouTube viewers donated a new drone to me so I could continue making videos for them. This method works.

Disqus can be used by guests with no need to sign up. Disqus also have support of signing in with many other accounts that most people use (facebook, X etc.). I see how a built in comment system would be interesting but as stated above, that also takes time and effort.

Disqus is too expensive, too heavy and full of spies. It doesn't work well without logging in. It's a hopeless comment system. Currently, getting a login API from Facebook, X requires some payment or configuring it is a nightmare. The idea is not to use external services that require logging in. Everything on one account in one community of chevereto galleries. I tried a few comment systems and gave up. Chevereto + comment system and possible internal messages + a slightly more advanced author profile (bio, more www addresses etc.) will be a perfect fully developed online gallery. It's already great, it's not much further from perfect.

There's a lot of comment APIs available, including self-hosted alternatives. Disqus and Facebook are just two providers, there's more.

I won't even touch facebook, it's evil.
I've tested a few simple solutions. Poorly 🙁 Rodolfo, maybe you could tell me what you would recommend implementing in chevereto? You must have some experience and conclusions. I'd be grateful.
