*️⃣ Must open one ticket per issue. If you are experiencing multiple issues don't hesitate to create multiple tickets for each issue.

▶ Reproduction steps
  1. Make sure "Require email for social signups" is enabled
  2. Go to login page
  3. Try to login with a social login button that is not linked to any account
  4. Uppon authorizing the login, you'll be presented with a dialogue to for email
  5. Enter the email that is already associated with an account
  6. The system will return an error "Email already being used"
😢 Unexpected result

So far it is all good. But, the problem is once you have figured out that you've probably made a mistake and selected a wrong social login button, you're stuck here.
There is no logout button, or option to restart from the login page. You're stuck here forever until you clear cookies.
Not everyone is that patient or know what to do at this point.

I know that existing emails cannot be linked to the social login from the login page for security reasons. Otherwise anyone can gain access to your account if they know your email address.
However, I believe that once this error occurs, and user visits any other page, the cookies should be cleared. That will allow them to start over from the login page, next time they click on login or visit login page.

I don't share the argument for the cookie clear action, it is better to add a logout action on that menu.
