Disable watermarking of GIF's

I have also suggested this to be in the Admin-panel.
When watermarks are applied to animated gif's, the animation breaks.

This tweak prevents GIF's from being watermaked while other formats works just fine.

Open app\lib\classes\class.image.php
Remark line 373 & 451 with //

Line 373 should look like this:
PHP:
               switch($upload->uploaded['fileinfo']['extension']) {
                    case 'gif':
//                        $src = imagecreatefromgif($upload->uploaded['file']);
                    break;

Line 451 should look like this:
PHP:
       switch($upload->uploaded['fileinfo']['extension']) {
           case 'gif':
//                imagegif($src, $upload->uploaded['file']);
           break;

You can use this:

PHP:
G\is_animated_image($filepath)

Not all the .gif images are animated.

thank you this is great.

The system doesn't touch the animated images (it was patched long ago) so you don't need to add that.
