Disable search doesn't disable routes

Affected version: 3.4.5 (updated from 3.2.5)

Thank you for introducing the enable/disable switch for the search and random function! I just tested them out and the disable for random is working fine (disables the routes and hides the button in the header). Setting the search to disabled only hides the button in the header and doesn't disable the routes though. I can still e.g. search for users via /search/users/?q=admin

Is this intended?
 
Yeah, admins still have search turned on by route access. (/search)
 
Wow, thanks for this super fast reply! Didn't think about that...

So, it just disables the route access for guests and non-admin users?
